Young People Cornwall

Young People Cornwall is a charity supporting young people aged 8-25

across Cornwall through a wide range of services focused on mental health,

wellbeing, youth work, and helping young people build confidence, resilience,

and positive futures. Young People Cornwall creates safe spaces where young people can access free practical and emotional support when they need it most.

Thanks to a generous donation from Seven Day Tailor, Young People Cornwall will be able to provide wellbeing resources within its Support Hubs, including self-soothe items, sensory resources, and practical tools that young people accessing mental health and emotional wellbeing support can take home with them.

These resources can make a meaningful difference in helping young people feel safe, supported, and listened to during difficult moments.

The Dreadnought Centre

Established in 1976, Dreadnought has been empowering children and young people to thrive in

a complex world across Cornwall for 50 years. They achieve this by looking behind behaviour.

Their qualified team provides a safe, empathic space to explore and recognise feelings and

emotions, building resilience and emotional intelligence.

Our donation will be used to directly benefit the children and young people who are service users, in boosting the centre's creative resources, which they use by way of engagement.
